After having eliminated Manchester City in the Round of 16, Real Madrid are set to face another European behemoth, Bayern Munich, in the quarter-finals as they continue on their journey towards another UEFA Champions League title.
The Merengues have lost one of their most important players, i.e., Thibaut Courtois, to injury ahead of this tie, while also recovering some other key players, most notably Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.
Meanwhile, Diario AS reports that Real Madrid can have another important player back available in time for this crunch clash, i.e., the defender Eder Militao. The Brazilian completed a training session, albeit without maximum intensity, with the players left at Valdebebas as most of the squad has left for their national team duties.
The center-back is now working to regain his competitive level for the upcoming league game against Mallorca, which he will use as a springboard for the Bayern tie. Raul Asensio was also a part of this training session, and the return of these players would allow Alvaro Arbeloa to go into the business end of the season with his defensive line significantly strengthened.
Hopefully, Eder Militao would be able to get back to his best physical level soon to help Real Madrid lift some trophies before the end of the season.
