Manchester United have had a very mixed transfer window so far. The Red Devils have announced the arrivals of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Diego Leon and are close to securing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford to further reinforce the attack.
In terms of departures, the Red Devils have reached an agreement in principle with Spanish club Barcelona to loan out Marcus Rashford with an option to buy. There is still a lot of work to be done on either front.
Now, as per the Sun (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United target Adam Wharton is happy to stay at Crystal Palace this summer. The English midfielder has a lot of interest from multiple clubs and could be available for above £70m.
Host of clubs want Adam Wharton

The 21-year-old defensive midfielder has interest from other clubs apart from Manchester United, including Liverpool, Tottenham, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich. Just the caliber of clubs interested in him tells one how talented he is.
Wharton has received a lot of praise for his quality as a midfielder. Arsenal star Declan Rice, who is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world at the moment, spoke highly of his compatriot, claiming that he has a ‘beautiful left foot’.
Anyone who has seen the 21-year-old play would be amazed by the technical ability that Wharton has on the ball. It almost feels like watching a Spanish midfielder in English clothing, and his performances have caught the eye.
Wharton is a generational talent

Wharton has been at Crystal Palace for a season and a half now, and despite some injury issues, he has managed to establish himself as one of the most important players for Oliver Glasner. Should Man Utd sign him, it would be an excellent signing for Ruben Amorim.
However, with the player happy to stay with the Eagles this summer, it would take something significant from Manchester United or any other club interested in him to convince him to join them this summer. It remains to be seen if the Red Devils push to try and convince the 21-year-old, and the next few days should provide a clearer picture.
