FC Barcelona have been in pre-season training for the past week, with Hansi Flick looking to identify the touring party he wants to take along with him on the Asian tour. Around nine reserve team players have been training with the squad over the past week, looking for a chance to impress.
Unlike last summer, when many first-team players returned late after international duty, Hansi Flick has an entire squad to work with for the preseason tour, which all but cripples the chances of many youngsters making it on the flight.
Now, as per SPORT, the German manager has informed two reserve team players – Pedro Fernandez (Dro) and Jofre Torrents that they would be on the plane to Japan and might get a chance to impress during the first game on the tour.

Just getting a chance to go on the tour with the first team is a huge win for the two youngsters, who can learn a lot by being around the group. It is also an indication that they have managed to impress Flick with whatever they have shown so far this week.
It is worth noting that these are just the coach’s initial decisions, and more names could be on that plane by the time the final touring party is announced. Torrents’ place in the squad might have been sealed due to the fact that Gerard Martin is still recovering from injury.
There is still a while to go before Barcelona goes on their Asian tour this Thursday. Thus, more quarry players are likely to get the chance to impress Flick and book their place in the flight. However, there is not long left to make a decision.
More young talents on the radar

There are other very talented players from the reserve team, like Toni Fernandez and Guille Fernandez, who would also be keen to make an impression during pre-season. It remains to be seen if they are making it to the touring party.
One other player to keep an eye out for would be Roony Bardghji. He was announced as a reserve team player, and it would be interesting to see if Hansi Flick decides to give him a chance on the Asian tour. The next few days would provide a clearer picture of the same.
