Manchester United have had a very mixed summer transfer window so far. The Red Devils have wrapped up deals for Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Diego Leon, and have also reached an agreement to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
Earlier today, it emerged, as per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, that Manchester United had reached an agreement in principle with Barcelona to let academy graduate Marcus Rashford leave on a loan with an option to buy for the Catalan club.
Getting these exits sorted is very important for the Red Devils. Apart from Rashford, the English club also needs to find a way to move on the likes of Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho, who are all out of the project.
Manchester United are interested in Randal Kolo Muani

Even as the club continues to work on exits, it is important to continue reinforcing the squad, with the number nine position in need of an upgrade. Now, as per Footmercato (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United are stepping up their interest in PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The French striker is out of the project under Luis Enrique, and for the second half of last season, he was loaned to Juventus. Kolo Muani had a good time with the Old Lady and could be an ideal upgrade for Man Utd this summer.
Kolo Muani is regarded as a very talented striker, but he hasn’t yet realised his full potential. Even his national teammate and Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe labelled him as a ‘very complete’ player, and he is waiting for the chance to explode at the highest level.
Will he be attainable?

8 goals in 16 appearances for the Serie A giants in the second half of last season showcased his quality, and he also netted 2 in 3 games at the Club World Cup. The report mentions that PSG are willing to let go of Kolo Muani on a permanent transfer, but Man Utd could face competition from Newcastle United.
It remains to be seen how much PSG demand for the 26-year-old striker, but one would assume that it wouldn’t be outlandish, considering they don’t have a place for him in their squad. Man Utd would do well to sign Randal Kolo Muani, and let’s wait and see how it plays out.
